we are an over 50’s group who meet weekly on a Tuesday, between 10-1200hrs for refreshments and a chat. It is great to share happy times with friends. Equally the adage that a trouble shared is a trouble halved is very true. Smiles and friendly ears await.
Enabled by the hardworking and committed leaders, teas or coffees, sandwiches, and cake are available for everyone who comes through our church doors. We also hold quizzes, craft sessions, sing-a-longs, and outings. All our outings are subsidized by members’ weekly donations.
We try and support each other whenever we can and always welcome new people popping in. Lifts are available for our meetings.
Many of our members donate £2-00p a month sponsoring ‘Wilson’, a young man in Ecuador. This collection helps towards his education, medical needs and social care of his whole family.
You do not need to be a member of the church to join in. If you know of an older person who gets lonely, why not suggest they stop by and give us a try?
All your trips out are subsidised by your weekly donations.
