Getting to know each other

You’re always welcome at All Saints. We know that meeting someone for the first time and going to a new church can feel unfamiliar, but we want to help make your first experience at All Saints Church Belton a great one!

At All Saints, Belton we believe that worship is more than just singing, but a way of life. It’s about giving every part of life to God in servitude. Rick Warren in his book “The Purpose Driven Life” writes:

Every human activity, except sin, can be done for God’s pleasure if you do it with an attitude of praise. You can wash dishes, repair a machine, sell a product, write a computer program, grow a crop and raise a family for the glory of God.

It is our hope that people would feel free to worship in whatever way they can for the glory of God at All Saints, Belton. We have different worship bands for different occasions and a great deal going on in the church, both behind the scenes and up-front, that people can take part in.

HOW LONG IS AN ALL SAINTS SERVICE?

In total, a service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the Worship Team leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service is complete, we share an encouraging and truth-filled message about Jesus and how a relationship with Him will impact your life. Services end with the band leading the church in music so you can contemplate and/or respond to the message.

WHAT’S THE CULTURE LIKE AT ALL SAINTS?

Sunday’s at All Saints are excitingcasual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We believe that children and young people can be full members of the church and that discipleship is possible at any age. We want every child and young person to

  • have a life-enhancing encounter with the Christian faith and the person of Jesus Christ
  • recognize their capacity to transform the Church and the world

During the main service on most Sundays, there is an opportunity for children to meet with and learn about God in their own way. This can be through art and craft, discussion, playing games, making yummy food…. Our dedicated team of children’s work volunteers offer space for children to grow in their relationship with God. All children are welcome, even if you are just visiting.

We believe that kids should have a blast at church and at All Saints, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your child’s safety. Because of that, we ask that you allow an extra 10 minutes before the service on your first visit to discuss any concerns with the team.
