We believe that children and young people can be full members of the church and that discipleship is possible at any age. We want every child and young person to
- have a life-enhancing encounter with the Christian faith and the person of Jesus Christ
- recognize their capacity to transform the Church and the world
The groups on offer to children and young people visiting us take many forms, please look through the information below to learn more about our individual groups or contact us to discuss the work we do.
The church continues to have a strong, positive relationship with Moorlands Primary Academy (part of the Diocese of Norwich Education Academy Trust). Rosie is Chaplin for the school. Anneka Gearie assists to provide Collective Worship.
Anneka and Rosie lead Collective Worship for Moorlands once a week, providing the opportunity to explore key Christian beliefs and their application to life today through the Bible story.
The enjoyment the children, staff and volunteers find in the workshops (Christmas, easter and thy kingdom come), where each class comes to the church to enjoy and experience activities and a prayer space on the seasonal theme, has been a gratifying highlight of working with the school.
The year 6 students receive a Youth Bible gift at the end of their time at Moorlands. This is a major investment for us as a church and one that we trust will bear fruit in due course.
